Leadership is defined as ¨ the action of leading a group of people or organization or the state or position of being a leader ¨
So then what is the difference between a good and bad leader?
What makes a Good leader?
A good leader is a person who would be willing to look at a problem and take charge it. It is a person who would look at a problem and try and see the problem through someone else's shoes. A good leader is also someone who cares for people under them by guarantees that they will be taken care of. They also show the characteristic of courage as they should be willing to stand up to danger. A good leader should also be able to tell the truth when it is necessary and keep his or her people informed of the current events affecting that place. They should also be able to recognize when they are wrong and they should be able to fix the problem. A good leader also needs to listen to his people and incorporate their ideas into the government so that both parties reap the benefits of a happy population and government. Another characteristic a good leader needs to have is the ability to remain cool and collected in times of crisis, to show no fear in the face of fear itself. Both Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill have these characteristics and used these characteristics during the second world war and afterward.
What makes a Evil leader?
A evil leader is someone who takes control of a goverment for the sake of themselves. These people abuse the goverment as a tool for their own selfish needs. They will use this power to give themselves and their equally evil supporters anything they want. These types of leaders use fear and terror to bend people to their will. If someone tries oppose them or someone appears to be a threat to them they will eliminate the threat through violence or murder. These people create unjust laws that the people who the person rules over must obey or else. They generally are poor descision makers and make descisions which benefit themselves and no on else. They also have a tendency to deny reforms that would make life easier for people other than themselves. In general they are only interested in themselves and what they can do to benefit themselves. These qualities definitly describe the leadership of both Stalin and Hitler.
